Cream smocked blouse

Long-sleeved blouse in ecru cotton. The special thread weave reveals a pretty chevron pattern where satin lines alternate with matte lines. Smocks embroidered with flowers on the front and a flat back to mid-blouse height. Then the gathers generated by the smocks and those supported by the cut-out back give the fullness and ease needed for the movements of little girls, from the most well-behaved to the most boisterous. The round neckline is topped by a ruffled band, the same that runs the length of the button placket and conceals it. Long sleeves are tightened at the wrists with elastic for a ruffled effect. A blouse that loves occasions to show off, but doesn't wait for them to come out.
